The Satakunta Educational Federation, operating under the name Sataedu, is a key provider of vocational education and training in Finland. It delivers a range of educational services including qualifications leading to a degree, preparatory education for vocational studies, additional and continuing education, online training, and card training. Sataedu is known for its flexible and individualized educational services, designed in collaboration with students, working life representatives, and other stakeholders.
Sataedu is located across multiple municipalities including Harjavalta, Huittinen, Kankaanpää, Kokemäki, Nakkila, Parkano, Rauma, and Ulvila, catering to around 5,000 students with the support of approximately 320 staff members. A significant portion of the staff is dedicated to teaching, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to educational quality and professional skill development.
The federation offers courses across a wide range of fields such as business, health and social care, engineering and technology, and arts and media, among others. It aims to develop professional skills through both theoretical learning and practical training on the job, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future careers.
